Federal and Provincial Health Systems in Canada
There are regional, Provincial, National and sometimes even international systems that influence Public Health practice.

Currently there is an agreement between the province of BC and the federal government to grant an exemption to a law regarding the possession of substances. details can be found on the BC Gov website.

The National Collaborating Centers for Public Health is the umbrella site for the 6 National Collaborating Centers. These each have an area of focus in which they provide research and knowledge on their Public Health topic (ie Indigenous Health). These sites provide access to information in the form of publications, presentations, and webinars.
